Job Summary


The Group Product Manager (GPM) provides strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of the country brand portfolio, driving the development and execution of HCP-focused marketing strategies that deliver sustained revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term profitability.
The GPM partners with cross-functional stakeholders, translates market intelligence into actionable strategies, and shapes KOL engagement and development to strengthen brand positioning and competitive advantage. The role is accountable for rigorous KPI governance, excellence in execution, and continuous optimization of marketing initiatives.
The GPM is expected to lead and inspire team, manage multiple high-impact initiatives, and act as a strategic advisor to the business unit, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and driving consistent performance outcomes.


Areas of Responsibility


Market intelligence and Insights through primary research and customer connect.
Developing business plans/ market strategies for the products within the assigned portfolio.
Making Brand plan, Brand strategy & competitor analysis of the brands and therapy.
Ensuring Planning & timely delivery of promotional inputs.
Execution excellence on KPIs.
Conducting meetings, Product launches, organizing CMEs, Conferences.
Product forecasting, new product pipeline strategy, new product pre-launch and launch strategy and post-launch, new initiatives for product growth strategy.
Ensuring marketing strategy implementation through sales force connect
Market intelligence through primary research and customer connect.
Drive digital, data-driven, and patient-centric innovations and to identify unmet needs and growth opportunities.
Providing training, product knowledge, and direction to the field sales team to ensure that they are well-equipped with scientific and communication skills both.


Job Requirements


Educational Qualification BSc/B Pharma, MBA (Marketing)
Specific Certification Advanced Excel Skills - Preferred


Skills


Marketing and Selling Skills, Strategic thinking and problem-solving, good communication skills
Language Fluency in Reading and writing: English


Experience


10-15 Yrs of Experience in Brand Management
