Job overview:
The Handyman will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the organization's premises to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained working environment.
Roles and responsibilities:
Perform carpentry works including making, repairing, and installing furniture, doors, and
Carry out plumbing installations and
Undertake flooring works and minor masonry
Conduct painting works and surface finishing as
Repair and replace general hardware and
Support basic electrical repairs and wiring
Troubleshoot and perform general building maintenance
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from
Inspect premises regularly to identify and resolve maintenance
Maintain tools and equipment in good working
Prepare basic maintenance reports when required
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance
Good working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and basic electrical
Practical experience in general construction and property
Ability to diagnose problems and recommend effective
Strong time management and ability to prioritize
Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and ability to follow
Positive attitude and strong work
