This role involves overseeing the entire business development lifecycle, including market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and contract negotiation.
The Head of Business Development will play a critical role in aligning business strategies with the company's mission to provide high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective BPO solutions to clients across various industries.
Responsibilties
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute the company's business development strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
Identify and target new markets and customer segments to expand the company's client base.
Work closely with the executive team to set revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
Analyze market data to develop insights and make informed business decisions.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
Lead Generation & Sales:
Oversee the lead generation process, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to team members.
Collaborate with the product development team to tailor BPO solutions to meet client needs.
Reporting & Performance Metrics:
Provide regular reports on business development activities, including sales forecasts, revenue targets, and market analysis.
Required
A Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
An (MBA) or a related discipline is highly preferred.
10 - 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the BPO industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies that have led to significant revenue growth.
Deep understanding of BPO industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
