Role Overview:
We're looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, manage a small but skilled team, and execute a high-quality breakfast and all-day menu that complements our coffee program. The ideal candidate has a modern café background, creative flair, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations and food quality
Develop and refine menu items with seasonal ingredients
Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and hygiene standards
Control food cost, wastage, and inventory
Work closely with the operations and coffee teams to ensure consistent guest experience
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, HACCP standards, and supplier relations
Requirements:
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a premium café or restaurant
Strong leadership and communication skills
Menu development and costing experience
Passion for quality ingredients, presentation, and consistency
Diploma or degree in culinary arts (preferred)
