Job Summary
We seek the services of an experienced professional to work with us as Head, ICT.
The Head, ICT will provide strategic and technical leadership for the Bank's information and communication technology function, ensuring reliable systems, secure infrastructure, effective technology support, data protection, and digital solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the Bank's ICT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Oversee the Bank's IT infrastructure, applications, networks, systems, and technical support services.
Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and performance of critical ICT systems.
Manage cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
Lead the implementation, integration, and maintenance of banking applications and technology solutions.
Drive digital transformation and technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ICT policies, and industry best practices.
Manage ICT vendors, service providers, contracts, and technology-related projects.
Monitor ICT risks and ensure timely resolution of system incidents and vulnerabilities.
Prepare periodic ICT performance, security, and risk reports for Management.
Lead, supervise, and develop the ICT team.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CCNA, ITIL, COBIT, or equivalent are an advantage.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience, including experience in a senior or managerial ICT role.
Strong experience in banking, microfinance, fintech, or other regulated financial institutions.
Proven experience in ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity, banking applications, IT governance, and technology project management.
