Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership


Develop and implement an annual Business Development Plan aligned with TWR's ministry mission and organizational objectives.
Identify new opportunities across commercial, digital, and donor-funded sectors.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategy.


Revenue Growth & Sales Management.


Lead and mentor sales teams across all SIFA FM stations.
Create innovative advertising, sponsorship, and fundraising packages.
Oversee sales performance, KPIs, digital monetization, and multi-platform revenue generation.


​​​​​​​Team Leadership & Culture Building


Build a strong, high-performance business development team.
Facilitate planning, review, and strategy sessions.


​​​​​​​Financial Management & Risk Oversight


Manage departmental budgets and ensure revenue targets are met.
Oversee contract management, revenue tracking, and financial reporting.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks.


​​​​​​​Reporting, Documentation & Compliance


Prepare timely business, financial, and partnership reports.
Ensure accurate documentation of contracts and sponsorships.
Uphold organizational policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality.


Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media Management, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
Proven success in media (radio, TV, digital).
Strong stakeholder management experience across corporates, NGOs, government, and donors.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive revenue growth.


Added Advantages


Master's degree (MBA, Strategic Management, Marketing, Communications).
Professional certification (CIM, MSK, PMP, PRINCE2, Fundraising, Digital Marketing).
Experience in large-scale contract negotiation, budgeting, and operational oversight.
