Provide vision and leadership for the IT department while teaching Robotics
Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning
Complete collaborative planning, portfolio moderation, and maintain accurate records
Construct timely, informative reports to learners and parents on progress
Run weekly departmental meetings and cascade information from Subject Head meetings
Teach extra lessons when required and participate in the High School extramural programme
Attend all special occasions and school events as directed by Heads
Ensure thorough understanding and application of assessment standards
Demonstrate professional conduct in punctuality, behaviour, and work standards
Undertake any other reasonable tasks as determined by the Head of School
Qualifications, experience and skills
Minimum 3 years IEB experience
Having matric marking experience will be an advantage.
Be able to teach Java and SQL.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Build a caring and supportive environment in which all learners will thrive.
Teach extra lessons, when required.
Be fully involved in the High School's extramural programme.
SACE registered
Appropriately qualified IT and Robotics teacher
Strong interpersonal skills and team leadership ability
Energetic, creative, self-motivated, and innovative teaching approach
Thorough understanding of assessment standards

Clear criminal record
