Job Description


The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing and membership initiatives aimed at expanding the Institute's visibility, driving member acquisition and retention, and delivering measurable performance outcomes aligned with organizational goals.


Job Responsbilties


Provide strategic leadership in marketing the products and services of the Institute across all platforms, both within and outside Nigeria.
Develop and implement marketing and membership growth strategies in line with the Institute's objectives.
Ensure compliance of all marketing and membership services staff with organizational policies, regulations, and socially responsible practices.
Collaborate with the Research unit to conduct market research, customer insights analysis, and competitive intelligence across all target segments.
Prepare, analyze, and present periodic and special reports to the Executive Council on marketing and membership performance.
Oversee the handling of members' requests, enquiries, and feedback to ensure timely and professional responses.
Ensure accurate documentation and regular updating of walk-in client records, telephone enquiries, and other customer touchpoints.
Ensure proper maintenance, integrity, and confidentiality of the Membership Register and database.
Address and resolve members' and customers' complaints, concerns, and grievances efficiently and diplomatically.


Job Profile / Skill Requirements


Minimum of an HND or B.Sc Degree in any discipline; a background in risk management, finance, economics, or related fields is an added advantage.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in marketing, membership services, or stakeholder engagement within a professional body, financial services, or risk-related environment.
Possession of relevant professional qualifications (e.g., risk management, compliance, audit, and finance) and/or a Master's degree will be an added advantage.
Experience within consulting, professional services, financial services, enterprise risk management, compliance, audit, insurance, banking, certification bodies, or membership-based organisations is highly preferred
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interact effectively with professionals, regulators, and corporate members.
Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, membership trends, and market insights to support strategic decisions.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, particularly in corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and membership growth initiatives.
Good computer skills, including proficiency in membership management systems and standard office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the professional body effectively at events and industry engagement
