JOB SUMMARY
The Head of Revenue Management & Pricing is responsible for maximizing passenger revenue, yield, load factor, and network profitability through the development and execution of effective revenue management, pricing, inventory control, forecasting, and demand optimization strategies.
The role ensures that Air Peace achieves optimal seat revenue by balancing demand with available capacity while maintaining competitive positioning across domestic, regional, and international markets.
Working closely with Network Planning & Scheduling, Sales & Distribution, Commercial Systems, Marketing, Finance, Operations Control Centre (OCC), and Digital Sales, the Head of Revenue Management & Pricing will drive data- driven commercial decisions that improve airline profitability.
The position reports directly to the Director, Revenue Management & Pricing.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Management
Develop and execute revenue optimization strategies across all Air Peace routes.
Maximize passenger revenue through inventory optimization and demand management.
Manage booking classes and seat inventory.
Optimize load factors while protecting yield.
Implement demand-based inventory controls.
Monitor booking curves and adjust availability accordingly.
Recommend flight closures and capacity restrictions where necessary.
Recommend aircraft gauge changes to maximize profitability.
Ensure continuous revenue optimization across domestic, regional and international operations.
Pricing Strategy
Develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies.
Monitor competitor pricing daily.
Recommend fare increases and decreases based on demand.
Develop seasonal pricing strategies.
Manage promotional fares without diluting revenue.
Ensure fare integrity across all sales channels.
Approve fare filings through ATPCO where applicable.
Review fare structures regularly.
Forecasting & Demand Management
Produce accurate demand forecasts.
Analyze booking trends.
Forecast passenger volumes by market.
Produce revenue forecasts.
Recommend tactical commercial actions.
Monitor demand shifts resulting from seasonality or competitor actions.
Develop predictive revenue models.
Inventory Control
Manage booking class availability.
Optimize cabin inventory.
Manage overbooking policies.
Reduce spoilage.
Reduce spill.
Maximize seat utilization.
Ensure inventory reflects commercial strategy.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor schedules.
Monitor competitor pricing.
Monitor market share.
Conduct demand analysis.
Evaluate new market opportunities.
Analyze customer buying behavior.
Produce competitive intelligence reports.
Revenue Performance
Monitor route profitability.
Analyze route contribution.
Recommend schedule adjustments.
Recommend frequency adjustments.
Recommend aircraft changes.
Identify underperforming routes.
Develop recovery strategies.
Systems Management
Ensure effective utilization of Revenue Management systems.
Optimize HIT IT Revenue Management functionality.
Work with Commercial Systems to improve automation.
Support digital revenue optimization.
Improve reporting dashboards.
Enhance forecasting accuracy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Aviation Management, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

Experience
Minimum 8—10 years airline commercial experience.
At least 5 years in Revenue Management.
Minimum 3 years managing airline pricing.
Experience with airline inventory systems.
Experience using HIT IT, Sabre, Amadeus, Navitaire or similar systems.
