Head of Section- Veg- Naromoru at AAA Growers

Key Responsibilities:


Execute weekly planting programs and ensure proper crop establishment.
Maintain clean, weed-free fields and oversee crop support operations (coiling, tucking, topping, etc.).
Supervise irrigation, nutrition programs, and pest/disease management.
Plan and allocate labor efficiently; participate in accurate harvest forecasting.
Ensure adherence to production, quality, and operational standards.
Key Performance Indicators:
Achievement of agreed production targets.
Quality of produce supplied to packhouses (minimum 65% Class 1/PO standard).
Accuracy of harvest predictions (target margin of error ≤ 15%).
Section and crop cleanliness standards.
Timely and high-quality execution of cultural operations (weeding, coiling, tucking, topping).
Efficient irrigation and minimal water wastage.
Effective pest and disease management.
Proper implementation of plant nutrition programs.


Qualifications and Key Competence:


Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
5+ years in commercial vegetable production; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of vegetable crops, irrigation, and IPM.
Proven leadership, planning, and analytical skills.
Results driven with excellent communication and problem-solving ability
