The role will be responsible for driving academic excellence, ensuring effective implementation of the CBE curriculum, and fostering a supportive and high-performing learning environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership by developing and implementing long-term academic and operational plans that support the school's growth and innovation.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the CBE curriculum to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching and learning across all grade levels.
Provide instructional leadership by mentoring teachers, conducting classroom observations, and promoting modern and innovative teaching practices.
Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development of teaching and support staff to maintain high academic standards.
Ensure the holistic development and wellbeing of students by overseeing discipline systems, student welfare programs, and co-curricular activities.
Promote inclusive education by ensuring appropriate learning support systems for students with diverse learning needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, education authorities, and other stakeholders through effective communication and engagement.
Oversee the day-to-day administration of the school, ensuring compliance with education regulations, institutional policies, and quality standards.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related teaching qualification, a Master's Degree Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 - 8 years of senior leadership experience in a school environment, preferably as a Principal or Head of School.
Strong experience in implementing and managing the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teaching teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and possess a valid TSC number
