Role Overview
The Head of Wealth Management will lead the institution's wealth management division, overseeing strategy, client relationship management, investment advisory, and portfolio growth.
This role requires a visionary leader with strong financial acumen, deep knowledge of investment products, and the ability to build trust with high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the wealth management strategy aligned with institutional goals.
Drive growth in assets under management (AUM) and client acquisition.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients.
Provide tailored financial advice, investment planning, and estate management solutions.
Investment Oversight:
Supervise portfolio construction, risk management, and performance monitoring.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop wealth managers and relationship officers.
Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and client-centric service.
Business Development:
Identify new opportunities for product innovation and market expansion.
Represent the institution at industry events and networking forums.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
Professional certifications (CFA, CFP, ICAN, CIS) are highly desirable.
Minimum 10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory.
Proven track record of managing high-net-worth portfolios.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Deep understanding of Nigerian financial markets and global investment trends.
