Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and proactive School Health Officer to support the health and well-being of students and staff.
The ideal candidate will promote healthy practices, provide basic medical care, and ensure a safe school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide basic first aid and attend to minor health issues.
Monitor students' health and maintain accurate health records.
Promote hygiene and health awareness among students and staff.
Conduct routine health checks and screenings.
Ensure the school complies with health and safety standards.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate referrals when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
Valid professional license or certification (where applicable).
Knowledge of school health programs and safety practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle children with care and professionalism.
Previous experience in a school or similar environment is an added advantage.
