Job Summary
We are looking for a HEMM Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on heavy earth-moving machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on HEMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
Identify and diagnose technical issues with machinery and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with supervisor.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ensure 100% compliance with safety rules and regulations as per Company guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members during maintenance.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Engineers.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
Trade Test or National Diploma in Mechanical Enginering or relevant Technical Discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
Skills And Competencies
Knowledge of quality control methods and instruments
Knowledge of quality audit/ testing processes for cement
Knowledge of the cement production process
Knowledge of ISO quality management systems
Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quantitative analyses
Problems solving skills
Proficiency in the use of computer
Technical skills
Teamwork skills
