Ages: Daughter aged 6 years old in Grade 1
Working hours: Mon and Wed: 13h30 - 18h30 (5 hours)
Tues and Thurs: 13h30 - 15h30 (2 hours per day)
Fri: 13h00 - 18h30 (5.30 hours)
Two Saturdays per month: 08h30 - 14h00 (5.5 hours per day)
School holiday hours: Mon - Fri 12:00 - 18:00
Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals and appointments, managing medicine when sick, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping on your behalf, ensuring bags are unpacked and packed for the following day, Ensure the childs belonging are brought home, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, prepare meals for your children, occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement). Communication with the parents daily. Watching the two dogs, occasionally feed and take for walks.
Requirements: First aid, teaching background or Montessori background. Current driver's license and serviced car, confident driving at night for later shifts, Strong swimmer, Good cooking and baking skills, First language English, additional languages will be of benefit, Enjoys pets
Start date: ASAP Start date - permanent contract
Salary: R14450 - R15000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
