Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist nurses and doctors in supporting patients and administratively while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily care needs such as mobility, hygiene, feeding, and comfort.
Support nurses and doctors during examinations, procedures, and ward rounds
Maintain cleanliness of patient areas, beds, and clinical equipment
Assist with basic documentation.
Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are strictly followed.
Respond promptly to patient requests and report concerns to supervising staff.
Support inventory control of medical supplies where required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical School certification in Healthcare Aide/Assistance.
Community health or primary healthcare clinic experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting will be advantageous.
Basic knowledge of patient care, hygiene, and infection control is required; as well as ability to communicate clearly in English.
Must be compassionate, patient-focused, and professional in attitude.
Must be physically fit and able to work shifts, including weekends if required. Should be domiciled in Lagos.
