Hospitality Intern at V&A Waterfront

Key responsibilities:


Storage and Equipment: Oversee all wet and dry storage areas, commercial kitchen equipment, events, demo kitchen equipment, and general hygiene at Makers Landing.
Project Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day projects and checklist as per schedule.
Administrative Tasks: Attend meetings, maintain stock and equipment records, and report on activities at Makers Landing.
Inventory Management: Assist with planning and maintaining inventory to ensure controls and minimize waste.
Facilitating Communication: Facilitate cross-channel feedback from tenants and customers.
Compliance: Ensure all activities conform to set SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).


Requirements


Ability to learn on the job
Knowledge of health and safety protocols
Must be a South African citizen
Interns who require workplace experiential training as part of qualification requirements
Willing to work shifts and weekends
