Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and proactive Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, ensure high-quality meal production, and maintain smooth daily workflow and ensure proper hygiene is observed in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities and workflow.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals for events, orders, and daily production.
Enforce portion control, recipes, and quality standards.
Ensure the kitchen and environs are always clean, organized, and running efficiently
Supervise kitchen staff and assign duties.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring meals are prepared on time and to high standards
Plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines and cater to diverse dietary needs
Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships within budget
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver excellent service
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and school policies
Work closely with school leadership to support events and special occasions
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in kitchen management or supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Passion for hospitality and teamwork
Requirements:
HND/Bachelor\'s degree
4 Years of experience in the same position or a similar hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of catering operations and bulk food production.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and kitchen regulations.
Must be organized, disciplined, and reliable.
