Role Overview
The Female Hostel Warden will be responsible for the overall supervision, administration, and welfare of students residing in the female hostel.
The successful candidate will ensure discipline, safety, cleanliness, and a conducive living environment that supports academic excellence and student development.
Key Responsibilities
Student Welfare & Supervision:
Supervise and monitor hostel residents
Enforce hostel rules and institutional regulations
Provide guidance and counseling support where necessary
Address welfare concerns and escalate serious issues appropriately.
Administration:
Maintain accurate records of occupancy and resident details
Monitor compliance with hostel policies
Prepare periodic reports on hostel operations.
Safety & Security:
Ensure proper security measures are enforced
Conduct routine inspections of hostel facilities
Liaise with security personnel and management on safety matters.
Conflict Management:
Mediate disputes among residents
Implement disciplinary measures in line with institutional policy.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related discipline
Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
High level of integrity and emotional intelligence
Experience in hostel administration is an advantage.
