Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our hotel team
The Laundry Personnel is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and care.
The role ensures that all laundry items are processed efficiently and made available to hotel departments in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to the supervisor.
Apply appropriate cleaning methods and detergents based on fabric type and care instructions.
Ensure all guest laundry is handled with care, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report shortages.
Follow hotel health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Assist in distributing clean linens and uniforms to relevant departments.
Respond promptly to laundry requests from guests and hotel departments.
Requirements
Minimum of a secondary school certificate or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or hotel environment is an advantage.
Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift laundry loads when required.
