Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Waitress to provide excellent food and beverage service to guests.
The ideal candidate will ensure guests enjoy a pleasant dining experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining the hotel's service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
Take guest orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Prepare and arrange dining areas before service and clean up after service.
Process bills and handle cash, card, or other payment transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with hotel policies.
Assist in setting up banquet, conference, and special event dining services when required.
Report guest feedback, complaints, or operational issues to supervisors.
Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a waitress, server, or in a hospitality role is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Good personal grooming and professional appearance.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
