Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive house manager to oversee and perform daily household management of our home. The ideal candidate will work with our current domestic helper to efficiently manage all aspects of the home while demonstrating excellent initiative, attention to detail, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities


Meal Planning & Kitchen Management: Plan and prepare daily meals, maintain kitchen inventory, create weekly meal plans in accordance with dietary needs, and submit for approval weekly. Anticipate and accommodate changing dietary needs.
Household Administration: Maintain cleanliness and organization on an ongoing basis, cleaning high-traffic areas on an ongoing basis and less-used areas on a less frequent but consistent rotation.
Manage supplies and address household issues proactively, contact pest control, maintain fumigation schedules, and address plumbing issues. Check power outages.
Staff Coordination: Work effectively with one domestic helper to complete tasks efficiently
Guest Coordination: Prepare for visitors, ensure appropriate accommodations, and refreshments.
Communication: Provide regular updates on household operations and maintain task logs


Requirements


Minimum 3 years of experience in household management or related field
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in home maintenance, meal planning and preparation, and kitchen management
Skilled in the operation of basic and specialized kitchen appliances, with a willingness to learn how to use new equipment and systems.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English
References demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness
