Job Description
The Housekeeper II, KEWI 9 reports to the Housekeeper I KEWI 8.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -
Taking part in setting up conferencing facilities;
Carrying out general cleaning;
Spreading beds;
Operating laundry equipment;
Washing cleaning materials and equipment;
Maintaining cleaning equipment; and
Dusting and cleaning rooms, windows and corridors.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade an officer must have: -
At least three (3) years relevant work experience, in the grade of Housekeeper III or in a comparable position;
Certificate in any of the following courses: - Housekeeping and Front Office Management, Housekeeping and Laundry or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
