Job Description
Required to follow intermediate level of instructions in performing customer service work while using established routines. Applies limited analysis and problem solving abilities in performing job duties. Performs such duties as data entry, filing, directing phone calls to appropriate personal, etc. Serves as a role model in fulfilling the Church's religious mission with compassion toward others and an attitude of devotion to God, while performing tasks of an intermediate level of knowledge and judgment.
Responsibilities
Reception and Communication
Answer phone calls and emails, and welcome visitors with courtesy, kindness, and professionalism.
Maintain an accurate daily log of all communications.
Manage priesthood leaders' contact information on behalf of the supervisor.
Regularly update the electronic contact directory for priesthood leaders of units within the temple district, including phone numbers and email addresses.
Reservations and Check-In/Check-Out Support
Process reservations by phone, email, or in person using the designated reservation software and in accordance with established guidelines.
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during scheduled working hours.
Ensure that all applicable fees are settled before guests depart.
Verify that all keys are returned to the office before departure.
Post and update the housekeeping schedule for rooms and shared spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas vacated by departing groups.
Coordination with Visiting Group Leaders
Maintain regular communication with visiting group leaders before their arrival at the temple.
Coordinate with group leaders to support a smooth arrival, stay, and departure experience.
Records and Administrative Support
Create, organize, and maintain files, records, and registers as needed.
Ensure that administrative information is accurate, confidential, and properly kept.
Cleaning, Inspections, and Security Support
In the absence of the supervisor, oversee cleaning and inspection activities.
Monitor the safety and security of the premises and promptly report any concerns requiring attention.
Qualifications
Must be an endowed member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Education
A post-secondary qualification, such as an HND, OND, bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in hospitality management, business administration, estate/property management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to learn and use new software applications, including reservation and administrative systems.
