Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the HR department in the effective management of employee-related processes and administrative activities.

The successful candidate will provide support across recruitment, employee records, leave administration, staff welfare, performance management, employee relations, and general HR administration. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities


Assist with recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, and onboarding.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
Prepare HR letters, contracts, correspondence, reports, and other personnel documents.
Support leave management, including maintaining leave records and assisting with leave requests and approvals.
Assist with employee welfare and staff engagement activities.
Support the implementation of performance management and staff appraisal processes.
Assist with disciplinary and employee relations matters in line with company policies and procedures.
Ensure HR documentation and processes comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in coordinating employee onboarding and orientation.
Support the HR department in maintaining proper HR documentation and filing systems.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR department.
Handle employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Prepare HR reports and provide relevant information to management when required.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by the HR Manager.


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or a related administrative role.
Previous experience in a Human Resources environment will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of HR practices, employment procedures, and employee administration.
Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
