We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Richmond Park team as an HR & Office Administrative Assistant.


Job Synopsis


The HR & Office Administrative Assistant will provide efficient administrative support to both the Branch Manager and the Regional HR Practitioner. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of branch operations and human resources activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior administrator looking to develop a career in Human Resources and office administration.


Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration


Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Regional HR Practitioner.
Assist with the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, preparing interview packs, and communicating with candidates.
Prepare employment documentation, including contracts, new starter packs, and onboarding documentation.
Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
Assist with leave administration and employee attendance records.
Capture and maintain HR information on internal systems.
Assist with disciplinary hearings, investigations, and other employee relations administration.
Coordinate employee training records and HR compliance documentation.
Prepare HR reports and general correspondence as required.
Provide general administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.


Branch Administration


Provide administrative support to the Branch Manager.
Manage filing systems and maintain accurate branch records.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
Assist with branch reporting and administrative documentation.
Coordinate office supplies and stationery requirements.
Assist with travel arrangements and meeting logistics where required.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and general administrative enquiries.
Support the coordination of branch events, meetings, and employee engagement initiatives.
Perform general office administration and ad hoc duties as required.


Requirements


Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
A National Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related qualification will be advantageous.
A minimum of 1 years' experience in HR administration will be advantageous.
Previous office administration experience will be beneficial.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong customer service orientation.
