Our client, a well-established manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a HR Officer, based in the Umhlanga area.
The HR Officer will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to deliver effective and value-driven HR services to management and employees.
The role will also support the organisation's strategic goals and ensure HR practices remain aligned with business objectives
Key Performance Areas:
Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders
Implement and maintain effective Industrial Relations (IR) systems, policies, and procedures
Coordinate and drive performance management processes in line with set timelines
Develop and implement succession planning and talent management strategies for critical roles
Ensure adherence to all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements related to transformation reporting
Monitor and maintain Employment Equity (EE) compliance in accordance with organisational policies, plans, and reporting requirements
Facilitate the implementation of Skills Development Plans and address identified skills gaps within the organisation
Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and appoint suitably qualified talent
Maintain and update organisational structures and organograms
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
3-4 years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
Solid understanding of HR legislation, Industrial Relations (IR), union practices and other regulatory requirements
Strong computer literacy with advanced MS Office skills
Experience with Sage 300 will be considered an advantage
