Job Summary

The HR Supervisor will oversee day-to-day human resources, payroll, and administrative operations within the manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, effective HR operations, employee relations, compliance with labour laws, and efficient administration to support uninterrupted production and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources & Payroll Functions


Supervise daily HR operations including attendance tracking, shift schedules, leave management, and personnel records.
Prepare and manage monthly payroll by collating attendance, overtime, deductions, allowances, and statutory contributions.
Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and timely salary disbursement in line with company policy.
Manage statutory payroll obligations such as PAYE, pension, and other applicable deductions.
Coordinate recruitment activities for factory, technical, and administrative roles.
Support performance management processes including appraisals, confirmations, and disciplinary actions.
Handle employee relations matters, grievances, and shop-floor disciplinary issues.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, company policies, and factory regulations.
Maintain accurate HR and payroll documentation and reports.
Supervise administrative operations including office management, facility maintenance, and vendor coordination.
Manage administrative and support staff (security, cleaners, drivers, etc.).
Oversee procurement and inventory of office and factory consumables.
Ensure proper maintenance and tracking of company assets.
Coordinate logistics for staff transportation, trainings, meetings, and accommodation where applicable.
Work closely with production supervisors to ensure adequate manpower planning and shift coverage.
Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and overtime to control payroll costs.
Enforce factory rules, safety standards, and workplace hygiene requirements critical to diaper and sanitary pad production.
Support workforce planning and staff cost optimization initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 - 4years' experience in HR operations, payroll administration, and supervision.
Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and payroll regulations.
Strong knowledge of HR operations in a factory setting
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Ability to manage confidential information
Candidates must be residents of Ibeju-Lekki or its immediate surroundings.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting
