Job Summary & Purpose


Provides strategic HR partnership and hands-on support to the Factory Leadership and workforce.
Takes lead in employee engagement activities, and Industrial Relations. Ensuring that the Organization has the most suitable working environment for all its employees.


Job Responsibilities


Serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Factory leadership team.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment process for plant staff, working with recruitment line managers to fill vacancies (both permanent and temporary) in a timely manner.
Provide support for the development of staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify and engage talent to enable organization reach set targets.
Actively participate in the preparation of HR budget
Develop and/or update Job Description s for Job roles in alignment with approved organization structure
Manage and facilitate induction and on-boarding process of new staff in the Factory
Facilitate the implementation and control of Talent Management strategies in the plant.
Manages the end-of-service process for outgoing staff.
Drive Annual Goal setting, Mid-Year and End-of-Years Performance Management Process for Factory
Prepare annual Training calendar in alignment with training needs and performance gaps.
Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits Manager implement effective compensation and reward management system.
Provide support for the design and review of HR policies, procedures, and strategies in line with Group policies and with regards to local needs and particularly for the factory.
Ensure Industrial and Labor laws compliance and keep brace of any new developments.
Provide accurate and timely People/Manpower Reports
Support Line Managers/Supervisors on people-management and conflict resolution.
Manage employee relations issues and grievances, and maintain a stable, positive working environment.
Provide professional guide on consequence management to drive culture change initiatives at the Factory.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and reduce turnover.
Collaborate with the HSE team to promote safety-first culture.
Lead initiatives to promote compliance with relevant regulatory agencies as applicable to the Factory.


Minimum Qualification & Experience


HND / BSc Degree in Business or Social Science course.
Masters' Degree will be an added advantage.
Certified Member of CIPM or any recognized HR certification.
Between 10 - 12 years relevant work experience within FMCG industry or Factory environment.
Experience interfacing with Labour Unions.


Knowledge & Experience:


Good Knowledge and understanding of key HR Management components (performance,
career management, reward & recognition, conflict resolution).
Proven experience in employee/industrial relations and union negotiation.
Excellent people management/stake-holder management skills
Excellent negotiation skills.
Basic Knowledge of Financial Management
Experience leading a team.
Experience, leading/or actively participating in culture change initiatives.
Agile, Self-driven, passionate and result oriented.
Experience managing outsourced labour to support flexible production plan.
High level of flexibility and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in MS excel
Committed to Continuous Improvement.
Good knowledge and understanding of people & operational budget.
Passionate in driving digitization.
