Job Summary
The HSE Coordinator will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment standards across the Group. The role involves coordinating HSE audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, compliance activities, and safety training programs. The successful candidate will promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across all business locations. They will also oversee HSE reporting and support workplace safety initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Job Details
Conduct and coordinate HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the Group to ensure compliance with the safety culture and ensure continual improvement
Coordinate incident investigations and ensure compliance with recommended actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct/review the risk assessments for the Head Office and other locations.
Coordinate emergency drills for the Head Office.
Coordinate the drill schedule for all subsidiaries within the Group at the start of the year.
Ensure the compliance of the Group HSE regulatory compliance tracker across location.
Coordinate and ensure that all compiled reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) are sent by the appropriate date.
Coordinate safety training across the Group.
Coordinate the HSE induction for TGI Head Office, TGI Distri, and CHI Pharmaceuticals new employees as relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
Coordinate the renewals of safety-related SLAs for the Group before their expiration date.
Ensure the monthly inspection of firefighting equipment for the Head Office and Titan Bank Ilupeju.
Ensure the monthly inspection of the first aid boxes for the Head Office and Titan Bank Ilupeju.
Follow up on the pending unsafe conditions for the Head Office.
Ensure quarterly fumigation is conducted for the Head Office at the appropriate date.
Create and send out the weekly HSE nuggets for the Group.
Coordinate any HSE project event for the Group.
Ensure monthly report is ready within stipulated time and ensure annual reports are prepared by the end of the year.
Any other function as stipulated by the head of department
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certifications or recognized HSE certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 4 - 5 years' experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management
