Brief Role Description


The HR Officer will support the effective management of human resources functions within F-CASD. This role is responsible for assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and benefits administration. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with the foundation's mission.


Responsibilities


Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
Coordinate recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate selection.
Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Support employee relations by assisting in conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as required.
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
Stay informed on HR best practices and industry trends to strengthen organizational capacity.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.


Qualifications and Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in HR coordination or related roles, preferably within NGOs or development organizations.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
