JOB ADVERTISEMENT:
We are seeking a hands-on, people-oriented HR Officer to support our expanding operations in the construction sector.
This role suits someone who enjoys balancing both office and site responsibilities, understands the fast-moving nature of construction projects, and is committed to building a well-supported, compliant, and productive workforce..
The successful candidate will play an important role in strengthening our HR structures, supporting site operations, enhancing employee welfare, and ensuring smooth. coordination between our project locations and the Head Office.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor daily attendance, leave, and overtime for all site employees.
Prepare payroll inputs accurately and share them with the Head Office within set deadlines.
Assist in resolving payroll concerns and ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
Maintain open communication with subcontractors, unions, and labour stakeholders.
Act as the first point of contact for all staff and worker-related issues
Maintain complete, well-organized personnel files for all workers and site employees.
Work closely with the HSE team to reinforce safety culture across all project areas.
Support documentation processes such as contract renewals, certification updates, and statutory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field Valid IHRM membership (mandatory).
Previous HR experience; construction industry exposure is a strong advantage. Strong grasp of Kenyan employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.
