Role Description
The Human Resources Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria, responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day HR activities. This role includes managing HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR documentation. The Human Resources Executive will support employee relations by addressing staff concerns, facilitating performance reviews, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture. They will develop, implement, and update HR policies in line with local labor laws and company objectives.
The role also involves supporting payroll-related HR tasks, coordinating training and development initiatives, maintaining HR reporting, and partnering with leadership to ensure HR practices align with business goals.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience overseeing core HR functions.
Hands-on experience with HR Operations, including recruitment, onboarding, records management, and HR documentation.
Proven ability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, performance support, and engagement initiatives.
Experience developing, implementing, and interpreting HR Policies in compliance with relevant labor regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office tools; ability to analyze HR data and prepare reports.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support leadership goals.
