The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing daily human resource operations, ensuring that all HR processes are carried out efficiently and align with organizational goals, while supporting the strategic initiatives led by the Head HR & Administration.
This role involves supervising various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, payroll, and HR policy implementation, to create a productive and legally compliant work environment.
Key Roles/ Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring that recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and performance management processes are carried out efficiently and are aligned with company policies and objectives.
Collaborate with the HRBP to manage recruitment and selection processes, ensuring that the right talent is hired and that onboarding programs are effectively implemented, while also supporting the development and retention of high-potential employees through targeted development programs.
Work closely with the Payroll Specialist to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, while also managing employee benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and comply with regulatory requirements.
Oversee the performance management process, working with the Performance Management Specialist to implement effective review cycles, ensuring that all employees receive feedback and development plans, while also fostering a culture of continuous performance improvement.
Ensure that all HR policies and practices comply with local labour laws, working with the HR Officer to review and update policies regularly, while also providing guidance to managers on legal and HR-related issues to minimize legal risks.
Lead employee engagement initiatives, working with the HRBP to ensure that engagement programs are effectively rolled out and that employee relations issues are addressed promptly, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a high level of employee satisfaction.
Mentor and develop the HR team, ensuring that all team members have the skills, resources, and support needed to perform their roles effectively, while also creating a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement within the HR department.
