Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR, Capability & Performance


Lead competency framework design, skills mapping within the skill matrix framework, and workforce capability planning
Own performance management systems, productivity measurement, and talent reviews
Drive succession planning and leadership pipeline development


Training & Talent Development


Take leadership of the talent management framework
Oversee training strategy and coordinate with training coordinator and external partners
Measure training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI)
Ensure workforce skills align with operational and business needs


Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement


Review HR dashboards and trend analysis to inform decisions
Champion HR process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
Drive C.I culture across people processes


Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement


Coach line managers on performance, capability, and people leadership


Risk Management & Governance


Own, maintain, and regularly update the HR risk register in line with organizational risk management frameworks
Identify, assess, and monitor people-related risks including skills gaps, succession risk, compliance exposure, industrial relations, talent attrition, and capability constraints
Work with functional leaders to define mitigation actions, owners, and timelines for identified HR risks
Track effectiveness of risk mitigation actions and escalate high-risk or overdue items to senior management
Ensure HR risks are reviewed periodically and incorporated into business planning and performance reviews


Safety & Ethical Operations


Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve shared goals aligned to AVA's vision and strategic objectives
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving activities, and operational excellence projects in line with World Class Manufacturing principles
Demonstrate commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Sustainability by ensuring no harm to people, protecting the environment, and using resources efficiently
Uphold ethical and responsible operations by respecting people, maintaining transparency, and supporting best SHE practices as a core business priority
Implement and sustain 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the work area, including daily 5S checks, proper labeling and storage, and escalation of recurring deviations
Ensure visual management tools are accurate, visible, up to date, and aligned to AVA standards
Maintain live tracking of key metrics, actions, and issues to support corrective actions and informed decision-making


Qualifications and Experience required


Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
Minimum 7 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong experience in performance management, talent development, and workforce planning
CHRP or equivalent professional certification preferred
