Job Responsibilities:
Operate Hydroblasting equipment safely and effectively for cleaning and surface preparation.
Perform Hydroblasting activities in accordance with project specifications, procedures, and safety requirements.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment remains operational and reliable.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs as needed to restore functionality.
Fabricate or manufacture replacement parts for Hydroblasting equipment when required.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and replacement parts.
Complete required manufacturer or industry training and maintain applicable certifications.
Follow all manufacturer guidelines, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify potential equipment issues and implement solutions to minimize operational disruptions and delays.
Work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and equipment performance.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating and maintaining high pressure Hydroblasting equipment or comparable machinery.
Training or certification in the operation and maintenance of Hydroblasting equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to repair and fabricate replacement parts as needed.
Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for Hydroblasting maintenance and repair.
Strong understanding of safety practices for high pressure equipment operations.
Ability to work independently and maintain optimal equipment performance.
Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce
A valid driver's license to legally operate a motor vehicle. Valid country driver's license. and passport.
Certification in machining or mechanical repair.
Experience supporting Hydroblasting operations for industrial or government projects.
