Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Network Engineer Lead / ICT Lead to oversee the design, implementation, management, and optimization of the organization's ICT and network infrastructure.
The successful candidate will lead ICT operations, supervise technical teams, ensure the security and reliability of network systems, and drive initiatives that improve overall technology performance across the organization.
This role requires strong leadership capability, deep technical expertise, and the ability to align ICT operations with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, implementation, and management of the organization's network infrastructure.
Oversee daily ICT operations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient network connectivity across all business units.
Manage and maintain core network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and wireless infrastructure.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure system integrity and security.
Implement network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and monitoring tools, to safeguard organizational data.
Lead disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives for ICT services.
Supervise ICT team members, provide technical guidance, and ensure efficient task execution.
Coordinate system upgrades, infrastructure expansion, and new ICT projects.
Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and consultants for ICT-related procurements and support services.
Prepare ICT performance reports, budgets, and recommendations for management.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and organizational policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in network engineering, ICT infrastructure management, or a similar leadership role.
Strong technical expertise in network architecture, routing and switching, server management, and network security.
Hands-on experience managing enterprise networking equipment and ICT infrastructure.
Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, wireless systems, and network monitoring tools.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or related certifications are highly desirable.
Experience in project management and ICT strategy development will be an added advantage.
