Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and results-driven ICT Lead to oversee the organization's information technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and optimal performance of all ICT resources while driving innovation and technology-enabled business improvements across the organization.
The ICT Lead will provide leadership in planning, implementing, and managing technology solutions that support operational efficiency, data security, business continuity, and organizational growth.
This role requires a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience managing enterprise ICT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the organization's ICT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Lead the management, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and communication systems.
Oversee the administration and security of hardware, software, databases, and cloud-based platforms.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all ICT systems and services.
Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Monitor and manage cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and incident response activities.
Implement and maintain data protection measures, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans.
Lead digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiency.
Manage ICT projects from planning through implementation and post-deployment support.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance organizational performance.
Oversee vendor relationships, service-level agreements, and third-party technology providers.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and industry standards.
Provide technical leadership and support to end users across the organization.
Develop and manage the ICT budget, including procurement planning and cost optimization.
Monitor system performance and prepare periodic reports for management.
Coordinate user training programs and promote technology adoption across departments.
Support business continuity planning and ensure minimal disruption to operations during system outages or emergencies.
Lead, mentor, and develop ICT team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5 - 8 years of progressive ICT experience, with at least 2 - 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
Experience managing cybersecurity frameworks, information security controls, and risk management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and enterprise networking.
Experience with database management, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and information security best practices.
Strong project management and vendor management experience.
Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, CCNA, MCSE, Azure, AWS, or related certifications are an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
