Key Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:
Manage the end-to-end operations of the LMS (Moodle/Canvas/Blackboard), including course provisioning, user management, and plugin integration.
Collaborate with faculty to design SCORM/xAPI compliant content, ensuring all digital materials meet Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
Deploy AI-driven helpdesk bots to handle routine LMS queries, and manage Tier 2/3 technical support for live classes.
Moderate forums and implement gamification strategies (badges, leaderboards) to increase learner engagement.
Pursue professional development and implement innovative strategies to enhance online education.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business IT or a related field from an accredited and recognized University is required.
Deep expertise in Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard is necessary.
Competence is necessary in eLearning Standards including SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can), and LTI integrations.
A balance is required between team and individual responsibilities, exhibiting objectivity and openness to others' views.
Strong empathy, customer service orientation, and instructional design basics are essential.

Must Have
Relevant Professional Certifications including:
Moodle Educator Certificate (MEC) qualification OR Blackboard Certified Specialist qualification.
ITIL 4 Foundation qualification for Service Management.
CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) qualification.
Google UX Design Professional Certificate qualification.
