Job Description
The School of Enterprise Management, Ibadan Business School is seeking a competent and proactive ICT Support Officer to provide technical support for a nationwide online modular training programme. The role involves managing the digital learning platform, supporting users, and ensuring seamless technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to participants, facilitators, and staff
Manage and maintain the Digital Learning Platform
Support user registration, login, and account issues
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical problems
Assist in live sessions and resolve technical disruptions
Maintain website functionality and backend operations
Provide support for content uploads and platform updates
Ensure data security, backups, and system integrity
Respond to helpdesk queries (email, chat, phone) promptlyDocument technical issues and resolutions
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of a First Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration
Basic knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CMS, basic troubleshooting)
Experience supporting online platforms or virtual training environments
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills (Added Advantage):
Experience with Zoom or webinar platforms
Knowledge of database management and cloud systems
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
Experience in EdTech or digital learning environments
