About the Role
The IT Operations Manager will oversee the daily functioning, stability, performance, and security of the Group's entire IT infrastructure and operational technology systems.
This is a highly hands-on role responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure reliability, system uptime, technical support delivery, and enterprise-wide technology coordination.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience managing IT operations in a multi-company or large operational environment with significant staff, devices, networks, systems, and digital infrastructure.
The role requires someone who can troubleshoot problems quickly, support users efficiently, implement reliable systems, anticipate operational risks, and drive continuous improvement across the organization's technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Management
Oversee and maintain the Group's IT infrastructure across all subsidiaries and operational units
Manage servers, hosting environments, cloud services, networking systems, internet infrastructure, and enterprise applications
Ensure maximum uptime, stability, performance, and reliability of all systems and services
Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify operational risks or system failures
End-User & Technical Support
Supervise and coordinate daily IT support operations for staff across multiple departments and subsidiaries
Resolve hardware, software, networking, email, and systems-related issues efficiently
Provide escalation support for critical technical incidents
Ensure effective onboarding and technical setup for new staff and departments
Networking & Connectivity
Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, office networking, routers, switches, Wi-Fi systems, VPNs, and internet connectivity
Troubleshoot network outages, bandwidth issues, and connectivity challenges
Ensure stable connectivity across all operational locations
Email & Communication Systems
Manage company email infrastructure and enterprise communication systems
Oversee email hosting, DNS records, domain configurations, spam protection, and security policies
Resolve email delivery and configuration issues across the Group
Systems Administration & Security
Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and security policies
Monitor system vulnerabilities and implement security best practices
Ensure proper backup systems, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity planning
Handle software updates, patches, antivirus systems, and infrastructure maintenance
Hardware & Software Deployment
Coordinate procurement, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software
Maintain inventory of company systems, devices, licenses, and IT assets
Standardize technology deployment processes across subsidiaries
Operational Improvement & Planning
Assess current systems and recommend improvements for scalability, efficiency, and security
Anticipate future infrastructure needs and support organizational growth plans
Develop IT operational procedures, documentation, and best practices
Collaborate with management to align IT operations with business goals
Vendor & Service Management
Coordinate with internet providers, hosting providers, software vendors, and external IT partners
Monitor third-party services and ensure service reliability
Manage renewals, subscriptions, hosting accounts, and infrastructure-related services
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum of 5+ years practical experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Management
Proven experience supporting a medium-to-large organization or multi-subsidiary business environment
Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and operational systems
Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and operational management skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Strong understanding of business continuity, system reliability, and operational efficiency
