Job Description


Responsible for operating the injector machine according to standard operating procedures.


Requirements


Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
N2 Mechanical engineering.
1 to 2 years' proven experience as a machine operator within the FMCG environment.
Working knowledge of diverse high- speed machinery.
A willingness to work overtime, shifts and weekends when required.


Duties and Responsibilities


Set up injector machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start production cycle.
Control and adjust injector machines settings (e.g. speed).
Feed raw material (brine) into injector machines.
Visual inspection of parts.
Test operation of machines daily.
Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
Perform other duties as may be required by line management.


Skills Required


Understanding of production procedures.
Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
Ability to read manuals.
Good communication skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Team player.
Able to work under pressure.
