Job Description
Deal Desk Ownership & Commercial Coordination
Serve as the primary deal desk owner for spare parts opportunities within the commercial team.
Manage the entire quotation lifecycle from inquiry to final approval.
Ensure that all deals move efficiently through the internal commercial process stages.
Coordinate internal approvals including pricing validation and commercial sign-off.
Maintain accurate deal records and pipeline visibility.
Technical Quotation Development
Analyze client requests and technical specifications for spare parts requirements.
Identify appropriate spare parts, equipment, or engineering components that meet the client's operational needs.
Generate technically sound quotations that reflect accurate specifications and commercial pricing.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to validate part compatibility and availability.
Ensure all quotations align with Synkron's technical standards and solution frameworks.
Client Request Management (Contact Center Function)
Serve as a technical first point of contact for spare parts inquiries from clients.
Manage and respond to spare parts requests received through the contact center.
Provide prompt technical clarification and solution recommendations to clients.
Ensure timely response to requests to maintain strong customer relationships.
Escalate complex engineering issues to technical specialists where necessary.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to confirm spare part availability, specifications, and pricing.
Source alternative parts where original components may be unavailable or delayed.
Maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliable sourcing channels.
Coordinate supplier quotations and lead times to support deal closure.
Logistics Coordination
Work closely with internal operations and logistics teams to coordinate the dispatch of spare parts.
Liaise with freight and logistics partners to ensure timely shipment of parts.
Monitor order fulfillment timelines and address delivery challenges proactively.
Ensure clients receive accurate updates regarding shipment status and delivery timelines.
Deal Approval & Commercial Governance
Ensure all quotations pass through the appropriate internal approval processes.
Maintain compliance with Synkron's pricing policies and margin requirements.
Validate deal documentation and ensure all commercial details are accurate before client submission.
Support the commercial team in closing deals efficiently.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management
Maintain visibility of spare parts opportunities and deal pipeline.
Track deal progress from inquiry to order confirmation.
Identify bottlenecks in the quotation or approval process and implement improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the business development engineers to support client opportunities.
Collaborate with operations, logistics, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless execution.
Contribute to cross-business unit projects where spare parts solutions are required.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Relevant Experience:
3 - 5 years of experience in engineering sales support, spare parts management, or technical commercial roles
Experience in industrial spare parts, manufacturing, or engineering solutions environments
Experience in quotation management and supplier coordination
