Contract: Fixed term (1 year)

what you will do:

Receive all Court summons and Demand Letters from the claimants and updating them on the Third Party cases worksheet
File all documents corresponding to the specific Third party claim
Analyzing all third party claims received and gauge if they qualify for Underwriter/legal department for action
Contact clients with reported third party Claims and guide them to fill claim documents and give written statements of the incident.
Sending the scanned court summons or Demand letters with claim documents to the respective underwriters and legal officer via emails for their action once satisfied that claim documents have been duly filled correctly .
Collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with the claim
Advising client and providing any requirement and/pending documentation as required by the underwriters
Obtain and update Claim Reference Numbers/appointed advocates from Underwriters and updating the records
Monitor the progress of all Third party cases and maintaining Constant communication with the clients updating them on status
Working closely with the legal department and Head of department to advocate for and protect the interest of the business

what we are looking for:

A bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance or a business related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in claims management and/or customer service and call center
Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP ) is an added advantage
Sound knowledge of insurance and legal matters
Familiar with the insurance and legal operations and processes
