Key performance areas


Assist with the planning, preparation and implementation of age-appropriate learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
Support the supervision, care and wellbeing of learners while promoting a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Assist with classroom organisation, learning resources, daily routines and general administrative duties as required.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure the effective running of the classroom and preschool.
Attend meetings, training sessions, workshops and school activities as required, while demonstrating professionalism and a willingness to learn.


Qualifications, experience and skills


Class Assistant Intern for the preschool for 3 to 5 year olds.
Teaching Diploma NQF6.
CAPS experience.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must have sober habits.
A clear criminal record.
