Intern - Information Management for Evaluation Support at UN-Habitat

Responsibilities


Assist the IEU with knowledge and information management related to decentralized evaluations.
Assist in maintaining and improving simple tracking tools for evaluations, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
Support the structuring, filing, and archiving of evaluation reports, management responses, and related documentation.
Support workflow automation using standard Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. PowerAutomate, SharePoint, Lists, Teams, Outlook) for information sharing and coordination.
Assist with improvements to internal workflows, such as reminders, document routing, or notifications, with guidance.
Contribute to preparing and formatting guidance notes or user instructions for internal use.
Provide general administrative and information management support to the IEU, as required.


Qualifications/special skills

Applicants must at the time of application, meet one of the following requirements:


Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher),
Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent),
Have graduated with Bachelor's degree, Masters, PhD or equivalent. Be computer literate in standard software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
Have demonstrated a keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter.
Have a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which includes a willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
Preferred areas of study: Undergraduate or graduate in information management, Information Systems or Digital Administration, library and information science, Evaluation, Social Sciences, Development Studies, , international development, social sciences or similar.
