Key Responsibilities
Conduct periodic audits across all business units (retail, warehouse, FMCG, QSR, etc.)
Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
Investigate discrepancies, irregularities, and process inefficiencies.
Monitor inventory controls and report on stock variances or losses.
Review cash, sales, and expense records for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all financial and operational procedures comply with regulatory standards.
Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations in clear reports.
Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
Identify risks and provide suggestions for risk mitigation.
Support special investigations or spot checks as assigned
Requirements
Degree in Accounting
1 - 2 years of audit or internal control experience (preferably in retail/FMCG environments).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting or audit software is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and integrity.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Resident in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State
