Support the implementation and continuous monitoring of internal control systems across business operations.
Conduct periodic control reviews to ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, and approval matrices.
Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and emerging risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and investigations, including follow-up on agreed action plans.
Assist in identifying, assessing, and documenting operational and compliance risks across the organization.
Support the implementation and monitoring of risk mitigation controls and participate in risk and control self-assessment exercises.
Conduct physical inventory counts, spot checks, and asset verifications to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Perform inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, and investigations of discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Maintain accurate documentation of control reviews, audit findings, management responses, and compliance reports.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to promote control awareness and provide guidance on internal control and compliance requirements.


Requirements

Education


Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance roles.


Experience


Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, oil & gas, or service-based organizations is an advantage.
Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CISA, CIA, CRMA) will be an added advantage.


Knowledge & Skills.


Strong understanding of internal control, compliance, and risk management principles.
Knowledge of inventory management, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent reporting, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office productivity tools.
