What You Will Be Responsible For:
Conducting internal inspections across farms, production units, and collection centers in line with ICS procedures
Verifying compliance with organic farming practices, including field management, harvesting, and input usage
Carrying out yield estimation and balance verification to ensure accuracy and accountability
Identifying non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions, with follow-through on implementation
Supporting farmer training and on-site guidance to improve adherence to standards
Ensuring traceability of produce and maintaining accurate compliance records
Preparing detailed inspection reports and supporting documentation for audits and certification processes
Collaborating with field officers, buying clerks, and internal teams to ensure quality and efficiency
Monitoring ongoing compliance and proactively reporting any violations
What We Are Looking For:
Diploma in Agriculture or a related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in agriculture, compliance, or a related role
Strong understanding of organic farming standards, Fair Trade principles, and climate-smart agriculture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital data collection tools
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
Experience in training or facilitating farmer engagement is an added advantage
Willingness to spend extended time in the field
Fluency in English and Swahili
Valid motorcycle riding license with practical riding experience
