As we continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive, results-driven Internal Sales Trader to join our team and help drive sales growth by engaging customers, negotiating deals, and providing technical sales support.
What you'll do
- Sales and customer management: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Quoting and order processing: Prepare accurate quotes, process sales orders, and manage invoicing efficiently.
- Negotiation and pricing: Handle pricing discussions, margin calculations, and competitive negotiations professionally.
- Technical and numerical sales: Work with measurable products, conduct cost estimations, and ensure profitable sales transactions.
- CRM and sales administrations: Maintain detailed sales records, track leads, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Market awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, procurement, and technical teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- 3-5 years in internal sales, trading or customer relationship management
- Industry background: Experience in fast-moving B2B or B2C sales environments is highly advantageous
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of competitive market dynamics
- Ability to handle pricing strategies, profit margins and numerical calculations
- Experience selling measurable products (e.g hardware, tools, industrial goods, customer orders)
- Experience managing quoting, invoicing and order tracking
